  • Providing free legal assistance and representation to victims of human rights abuses, with a focus on women, IDPs, and marginalized communities.
  • Supporting the development of a robust, independent, and accessible justice system.
  • Training lawyers, judges, and traditional elders on human rights law and international standards.

Advocacy and
Policy Engagement

  • Advocating for the ratification and implementation of international human rights treaties.
  • Engaging with the Federal Government of Somalia, Federal Member States, and regional bodies like the African Union on human rights compliance.
  • Leading campaigns to abolish the death penalty, end torture, and protect civic space.

Capacity Building & Public Education

  • Training journalists on safety and ethical reporting in conflict zones.
  • Educating communities on their constitutional rights and responsibilities.
  • Empowering women and youth to participate meaningfully in public life and peacebuilding.
  • Working with security forces on international human rights and humanitarian law.
